Round 2
The piece of history I chose to talk about is when Char went on her first date with her Girlfriend.
The image is of Char working in her father's Forge. Its early morning, and I am quite happy with how it turned out.

"My history isn't that interesting.." Char confessed to the small woman in front of her. They were on a blinde date and Char being horrid with names handent yet remembered the other woman's.
"Come on, share." the woman said as she sipped her wine. She had a british accent but looked decidedly indian. Char sighed and sipped from her own glass summing up her courage.
"I don't think its verry interesting but alright. I grew up as the only girl of 7 children so iv'e always been treated a little different. That and the fact that I am a cyclops. My father says my brothers envy me... I think they pity me because being the servant of a god isnt easy." she said. the sagely nodd she recieved from the other woman wasn't what she was expecting.
"Aye, I hear you." the woman said as her thick dark curls bounced.
"Y-yeah..." Char felt a little better about talking something about this other woman gave her confidence to talk about her self.
"I'm a black smith. I usually work with more delicate metals like gold and sliver and copper. My brothers all asked me to make their wedding bands." she paused.
"I never knew my mother. Just that she was a beautiful woman. All my brothers tell me stories about her." she chuckled at the thought of all them telling her bedtime stories about a beautiful, flaxen haired woman who sang lullaby's, and made delicious food.
"I always thought she would be the type of person I would end up marrying-" she stopped, blushing suddenly she looked away.
"You know... You are really cute." the woman said, and char blushed darker.
"I think you, and I are going to have a second date." she said with a grin. Char's heart all but stopped, and shot up into her throat.
"I-I'd like that." she said her voice cracking a little, and the other woman's grin grew wider.

I really love the color of this piece. The shading goes well and the mood really fits with the way you portray it. The black smith looks serious in their work and that is an impression every black smith should give off. I really love the lighting angle...I guess I'm a sucker for dark pieces XD
